Soft Flooring

To keep your carpeting looking new, a routine Maintenance for heavy traffic areas should include:

  • Daily vacuuming
  • Once a month shampoo
  • Once a week spot and stain removal
  • Three extraction a year

Pre-test all spot remaining agents in an inconspicuous area. Know the fiber composition of your carpet.

Fibers that do not melt are Wool Rayon Cotton
Fibers that melt are Polyester Acrylic Olefin

Hard Flooring (Resilient)

Resilient type floors are vinyl tile, asphalt tile, rubber, linoleum and synthetic resin poured. The five main steps to resilient floor maintenance are:

  • Stripping
  • Sealing
  • Finishing
  • Finish enhancer
  • Cleaning

Hard Flooring (Non Resilient)

Following are the types of non-resilient hard flooring:

  • Ceramic
  • Marble
  • Slate
  • Wood
  • Terrazo
  • Concrete
  • Brick
  • Cork

Care must be used in cleaning these types of floors, with proper maintenance these hard floors provide you with years of service. Some hard floors, such as terrazzo and concrete floor, require using special sealers to prevent water & stain damage.
